The Old Laundry Glenprosen Village

The Old Laundry is in Glenprosen. It's a dark stone cottage, one of six on the Balnaboth Estate. The views are just fields, woods, and hills. It's very quiet.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and warm, not luxury. The room is all open plan downstairs, so the kitchen, sitting area, and wood burner are in one space. The stairs up to the bedroom are a proper cottage staircase, so mind your head.

You can bring one dog. There's a washing machine and a cot if you need it. Bedding is included. You park right outside.

You're on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. The estate itself is good for walking. You'll see red squirrels and deer. The river Prosen is here if you fish.

Kirriemuir is about nine miles for shops. It's a proper drive to get anywhere, so come prepared. For a day out, Glenshee for skiing is roughly 30 minutes. The Angus coast, like Arbroath, is about 40 minutes. Dundee is just under an hour if you need a city.
