Cullew Bothy is near Dykehead in Angus. It's a detached stone cottage on a farm. You'll see horses, sheep, and hens in the fields around you.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main bedroom is downstairs. The second bedroom is upstairs, reached by a spiral staircase. It's a spiral staircase, so it's not wide. It has a glass panel.
Inside, there's an open plan living room and kitchen. There's a wood burner. The kitchen worktop and some other wood was made from an oak tree that fell here. The bathroom has a bath and a separate shower.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden and a patio with a hot tub. The owner leaves robes for you to use. We have hens, so you might get fresh eggs.
You can walk straight from the door into the glens. Glen Prosen and Glen Clova are close by. For skiing, Glenshee is about a 30 minute drive. Kirriemuir is the nearest town, about ten minutes away. It has shops and places to eat. It's known as the birthplace of J.M. Barrie, who wrote Peter Pan.
The coast is about 40 minutes east. Dundee is under half an hour's drive. You're also on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park.
Facilities include a washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
