Glentairre Cottage
Glentairre Cottage is in Glenprosen. It's a detached cottage on a big estate. It's quiet here. You'll see fields and trees from the windows.
The cottage sleeps five. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. It's got an open plan living area with a woodburning stove, which is good for cooler evenings. The garden is yours to use.
You can bring up to three dogs. There's a washing machine, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. We also have a cot if you need it.
The estate is good for walking straight from the door. You might see red squirrels or deer. The River Prosen runs through it and fishing is available. You're on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. For skiing, Glenshee is about a 40 minute drive.
It feels remote, but Kirriemuir is about 15 minutes away by car for shops. The Angus coast with places like Arbroath is maybe 40 minutes. Dundee is under an hour's drive if you want a city day.
