Glentairre Cottage Glenprosen Village

Glentairre Cottage is in Glenprosen, a small village in Angus. It's one of six cottages on the Balnaboth estate. You're right in the Cairngorms National Park.

It sleeps five. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The living area is open plan.

It's detached. You've got your own garden area and parking right outside. There's a woodburning stove for chilly evenings. It has a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. A cot is available. You can bring up to three dogs.

It's very quiet here. You'll see red squirrels and deer around the estate. The river Prosen runs through it if you like fishing. You can walk or cycle for miles without seeing a road.

For a shop or a pub, you need to drive about ten minutes to Kirriemuir. It's a proper little town with what you need. The Angus coast is about half an hour away. Places like Arbroath or Montrose are good for a change of scene.

If you want to ski, Glenshee is roughly a 30 minute drive. There's plenty of golf around too. Dundee is about 40 minutes by car if you need a city day. They've got the V&A museum and other things.
