Chaff Cottage Castle Acre

The village shop and the pub, The Ostrich, are a couple of minutes' walk away. The shop has essentials. The pub does food. The castle and priory ruins are right in the village. You can walk to them. They're managed by English Heritage.

There are good walks straight from the door. The Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path are nearby. If you want the coast, it's about half an hour's drive to places like Holkham or Wells-next-the-Sea. National Trust North Norfolk has good information on the area. Sandringham Estate is about 25 minutes away.

For towns, Swaffham and Fakenham are close. King's Lynn or Norwich are about a 40 minute drive if you need more.

The cottage has wifi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is on the street outside the cottage; it's usually fine to find a space.
