The Tower is what it says. It's a tower, built as a folly on the Glanusk Estate. It's detached, just the one building. You get the place to yourselves.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bed's a double. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's up a flight of external stone steps to the first floor, so you need to be okay with that.
Inside is open plan. There's a wood burning stove, a sofa, and a TV. The bedroom is part of the same room. The shower room is en-suite. Outside, there's a private patio area with a barbecue.
The main thing is the location. You're right on the Glanusk Estate. You can walk out the door and into 250 acres of private parkland. It's good for dog walking. You can bring one dog.
Crickhowell is a few minutes' drive. It's a nice little town with shops and pubs. Abergavenny is about fifteen minutes away, they've got a market and more places to eat.
You're on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. Good walking country. The National Trust has places like Sugarloaf Mountain nearby. For wider park information, Brecon Beacons National Park is useful.
Facilities: WiFi, parking, bedding and towels are included. There's satellite TV. The garden is enclosed. You're near a golf course and there's fishing and horse riding locally if you want to organise it.
