The Library Pont y bryn hurt

The Library is a cottage on the Glanusk Estate near Crickhowell. It's detached, with its own enclosed garden. The garden looks out over Penmyarth Park.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both have zip and link beds, so you can have them as twins or doubles. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating.

You come in on the ground floor. To get to the lounge-diner, you go down seven steps. It's fine, just something to be aware of. The lounge has a wood burning stove and patio doors out to the garden. The kitchen has what you'd expect: washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, electric oven and hob.

You're right on the estate, so you can walk from the door. For bigger walks, you're at the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Crickhowell is about two miles away. It's a nice town with a few shops, pubs and a castle. Abergavenny is about seven miles, with more of the same.

The place is pet friendly. Up to three dogs are welcome.

Facilities: WiFi, bedding and towels are included, all the kitchen stuff listed, and the wood burner. Parking is right there.
