Bridge Park is in Killin. It's a detached cottage, used to be an old croft. It's in the middle of a big garden, mostly lawn with some trees. There are fields all around with sheep and cattle, and a small burn runs along one side. It's very quiet.
The cottage sleeps five people. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean, not luxury. The stairs are normal.
Inside, there's a lobby with a little boot room for muddy boots. The kitchen is big and gets the sun. It has a dining table for six. The lounge is cosy, with an open log fire, a satellite TV, and some books and games. The bathroom is downstairs, with a shower over the bath. Outside, there's a stone bothy you can lock. It's handy for putting bikes or fishing rods in.
Killin village is about half a mile away. It's a nice wee place by Loch Tay, right at the Falls of Dochart. There's a supermarket and a few places to eat. You can get fishing permits from the newsagent, and hire bikes or canoes from the Outdoor Shop. They're very helpful.
You're on the edge of the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, so walking is the main thing. Ben Lawers is nearby for the more serious hikes. Loch Tay is good for fishing and water sports. There's a golf course within walking distance, and you can go horse riding locally too.
If you're interested, you can visit the ruins of Finlarig Castle. The National Trust for Scotland looks after the Moirlanich Longhouse, which is a traditional Scottish longhouse, not far away.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can take one well-behaved dog. There's a highchair if you need it.
