Number Four
Number Four is in Framlingham. It's right in the town, a short walk from the market square, shops and pubs. It's a one-up-one-down cottage for two people.
It has a 5 Star rating. We bought it when it was derelict and restored it properly. The main room is downstairs. There's a sofa by the wood burner, which works well and heats the whole place. The stairs go up from there to the bedroom. They're steep and narrow, typical for a cottage this old.
Outside is a private courtyard. You get to use it, but you should know the neighbours for the house next door also walk through it to get to their front door.
Framlingham Castle is very close. You can't miss it. It's a good walk up there. For events, the town has a country show and a sausage festival, things like that.
Aldeburgh is about 30 minutes by car. Southwold is similar. Orford and Snape Maltings are also within that sort of drive if you want to see the coast.
For facilities, everything is included. Wi-Fi, TV, bedding, towels. The wood for the burner is there too. No pets.
