Heartwarming Cottage Wickham Market

Heartwarming Cottage is in Wickham Market. It's a quiet lane just off the high street. The cottage was renovated in 2022, so everything's in good order. It's got a 5 Star rating.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. We're happy for dogs to come along, up to three. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they turn a corner and are a bit steeper than modern ones.

Inside, there's a wood burner in the living room and some beams. The kitchen has what you need. The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs or kids. It's a lawn with seating, and the view is over fields. The River Deben is nearby.

You can walk to the high street in a few minutes. There's a supermarket, a newsagent, and a few places to eat including dog-friendly cafes. A pub has opened nearby in 2025, it does food and is walkable. You can also walk across the fields to a 14th-century pub in the next village.

For kids, there's a play barn with a cafe for under 7s. The village has a play area and a skate park. The local tennis club lets non-members book a court.

The area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Woodbridge is about a ten minute drive. It's a nice market town with shops, pubs, and a cinema. You can walk by the river there.

The coast is about a 20 minute drive. Aldeburgh and Southwold are good for a trip out. Sutton Hoo is close by. Snape Maltings is about 20 minutes away, it's good for concerts and shopping. Framlingham Castle is a short drive.

For facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, bedding and towels are included, and there's WiFi. There's an electric vehicle charger. You've got a BBQ and bicycle storage. No golf course right in the village, but there are a few within a half hour drive.
