Stonewood Country Lodge is near Kelsall in Cheshire. It's a modern, detached lodge. The whole place is for you.
It sleeps six. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The extra two beds are a sofa bed in the living area. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-fitted. The decking area at the front is enclosed and secure, which is good if you've got dogs or kids.
Kelsall village is a short walk away. There are a couple of pubs there that do food. For a proper big walk, Delamere Forest is right on the doorstep. You can get straight onto the trails from the top of the hill. The Forestry England site has maps and activity info.
You can drive into Chester in about 20 minutes. The zoo is that way too. Beeston Castle is also about 20 minutes drive; it's an English Heritage site with good views. Their page is here.
The local facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. On-site parking. It's pet friendly, they accept up to two dogs.
