The Hen House is in Cotebrook, near Tarporley. It's a detached cottage in our garden. You're on your own out there. It's a quiet spot.
It's for two people. One bedroom with its own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was redone a few years ago so it's fresh and clean. The entrance and main room are all on one level, no steps. It's not huge, but it's got everything you need.
There are two pubs in the village, about a 15 minute walk. They do food. The Shire Horse Centre is a five minute walk if you like that sort of thing. A really good farm shop is five minutes by car.
Tarporley is two miles away. That's where the main shops are, and more places to eat. Delamere Forest is a 20 minute drive for walking or cycling. Beeston Castle is up on the hill there, about the same distance. If you want a proper day out, Chester is half an hour away. The Roman walls and the cathedral are worth seeing.
For facilities: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. The bedding and towels are here. The garden part is a patio with a table and chairs.
