Gorstage Meadows Hartford

Gorstage Meadows is a lodge on our smallholding near Hartford. It's detached, so you're on your own, and you get one of those fields you can see from the windows. There's a deck with a private hot tub.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both downstairs, and two bathrooms. One is a wet room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's designed to be accessible, so the doorways are wide and there are no steps to get in.

We live on site. We've got rare breed sheep. If you're interested, especially if you have kids, we can arrange for you to come and help feed them or something. Just ask.

The location is quiet, but not isolated. You can walk straight out onto a public footpath from the property. Delamere Forest is about a 15 minute drive. Good for walking, or there's Go Ape and a water park if that's your thing.

Chester is roughly 30 minutes by car. The train from Cuddington Station is probably quicker, as it goes straight into the centre.

A lot of the big National Trust places are within half an hour. Tatton Park, Dunham Massey, and Quarry Bank Mill are the main ones. Oulton Park race circuit is also close by, if there's an event on.

Inside, it's open plan. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. All the bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
