Dower House Lodge is in Broombank, near Tenbury Wells. It's a detached lodge set on a farm. The views from the top of the garden are over fields, proper rolling countryside.
It sleeps eight, but it's three bedrooms. That's because one room is set up as a family room. It has a king-size bed and then two singles, plus a sofa and TV. It works well if you've got kids. The master bedroom has an en-suite with a free-standing bath and a big walk-in shower. The third bedroom is downstairs, which is handy. There's a second shower room next to it.
The kitchen is open-plan with the living area. It's a good space for everyone to be in. There's a separate dining room that seats eight. The stairs are a standard flight, not steep.
Outside, there's a patio with a hot tub. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for kids and dogs. There's a bit of play equipment in the orchard part. You can use the BBQ and there's a fire pit with seating.
The farm track leading to the lodge is a bit bumpy, just so you know. It's fine for normal cars, just take it slow.
Tenbury Wells is about three miles away. It's a small market town with a few shops, a Co-op, and some pubs that do food. For a bigger supermarket, you'd go to Ludlow or Leominster.
You're about half an hour's drive from Ludlow, which is good for food and castle. The Malvern Hills are about 30 minutes south for walking. The National Trust has a few properties nearby like Croft Castle. The Worcestershire County Council site has good local walking routes.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. There's parking for a few cars. You can bring up to two dogs. They provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
