The Hive is in Plaistow, which is a small village in West Sussex. It's a converted barn, one of two on the same site. You share the gardens with the other property, which is fine as there's plenty of space.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. Everything's on the ground floor, which is handy. The kitchen is part of the living area, so it's open plan.
The bathroom has a shower cubicle. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Parking is right outside. The heating and hot water are electric, and there's an electric stove that looks like a wood burner if you want some atmosphere.
Plaistow itself is quiet. There's a village shop and a pub. For a proper day out, you've got Petworth House about ten minutes away by car. The Weald & Downland Living Museum is in Singleton, maybe a twenty minute drive.
You're right on the edge of the South Downs National Park, so walking is straightforward from the door. Arundel with the castle is about half an hour's drive. The coast at Littlehampton is roughly the same.
Bedding and towels are included. No pets. If you're coming with more people, you can book the other barn, The Lodge, as well.
