The Lodge Plaistow

The Lodge is a one-bedroom annexe next to our house in Plaistow. It's all on the ground floor. You get your own front door and a private patio area out the back.

It's rated 4 Star. That means it's modern and comfortable. The bed is a good double. The bathroom has a shower. The main room is open plan, so the kitchen, dining table and sofa are all in one space. It has underfloor heating and an electric fireplace for cooler evenings.

The village is quiet. There's a shop and a post office about a ten minute walk away. The nearest pub, The Sun Inn, is in Kirdford, a two minute drive.

You're right on the edge of the South Downs. Good walking from the door. For a proper day out, Petworth House is about ten minutes by car. The town has antique shops and a big park. Arundel with its castle is roughly half an hour. The Weald & Downland Living Museum in Singleton is also close, maybe fifteen minutes.

It's a good spot for two people. There's parking right outside. We provide all the bedding and towels. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. WiFi is included.
