Well situated on the outskirts of the charming village of Aboyne, the cottage is in a superb location for exploring the area and making the most of the wealth of attractions in the locality and beyond. With year-round activities such as quad biking, archery and clay pigeon shooting available at the nearby Deeside Activity Park or wildlife safaris, cycling, pony trekking and fishing at Glentanar Estate, this is a perfect choice for families or couples of any age. Aboyne hosts an annual Highland Games in the summer, one of many in the area including the famous Braemar Gathering, and has a sprinkling of good shops and eateries, all within walking distance of the cottage. Further afield, Aberdeen, Inverness and Perth are all accessible for good days out, passing through the amazing scenery of Deeside, Cairngorms and Glenshee.
