Park Lane Auldgirth

Park Lane is in Auldgirth, near Dumfries. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level. We've given it a 4 Star rating, which is spot on. It's clean, comfortable, and well looked after.

It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has its own en-suite shower. You can bring one dog.

The kitchen and dining area is big, with patio doors out to the garden. The living room has a wood burner, which makes it cosy. The garden is enclosed and private.

In the village, there's a good pub that does food, about five minutes' walk away. Dumfries is about ten miles from here. That's where you'll find the big supermarkets, shops, and some museums related to Robert Burns.

Drumlanrig Castle is a must. It's about a 20-minute drive. The grounds are huge, perfect for a walk or a bike ride. You can tour the castle itself when it's open.

The Galloway Forest Park is fantastic for walking. It's also a Dark Sky Park, so on a clear night the stars are incredible. If you head towards the coast, the Solway Firth has some good beaches.

For facilities, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. All bedding and towels are included.
