Beuchan Bungalow
Beuchan Bungalow is on our farm at Keir Mill. It's detached. You're right in the middle of the farm, with sheep and dairy cattle in the fields around you. It's very quiet.
It's a bungalow, so everything is on one level. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. Sleeps four. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. There's an open fire in the living room, and we leave you some logs to get started.
The garden is enclosed. It's a good spot to sit out when the sun's on it. The views are over the fields. At night, because there are no streetlights, you get a proper view of the stars. The area's known for its dark skies.
You'll need a car. The nearest shop and pub are about three miles away in Thornhill. It's a nice village for a wander. For a big day out, Drumlanrig Castle is close. It's good for walking, cycling, and seeing the house.
The Solway coast is within a half hour's drive. There are some good, quiet beaches there. You can drive into Galloway Forest Park for walking too, it's about the same distance.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry, because of the livestock.
