Beuchan Bungalow Keir Mill

This is Beuchan Bungalow. It's on our farm near Keir Mill. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one floor. You look out over the fields.

It sleeps four people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place. It's clean and comfortable. We keep it warm.

The sitting room has an open fire. We provide some logs to get you started. You can buy more in Thornhill. There's a TV and the wifi usually works fine.

The garden is enclosed. You can sit out there. It's a working farm, so there are sheep and dairy cows in the surrounding fields. Sometimes you'll hear tractors.

The nearest shop, pub, and restaurant are about three miles away in Thornhill. It's a nice village with places to eat. You'll need a car.

Drumlanrig Castle is very close. It's a proper castle with gardens and mountain biking trails. You can spend a day there. The Drumlanrig Estate website has all the details.

The coast is about an hour's drive. You can get to some quiet beaches and harbours like Rockcliffe or Kippford.

It's very dark here at night. If the sky is clear, you can see a lot of stars.

Inside, there's a washing machine, parking for your car, and all the bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
