Westlin
Westlin is in Penpont, in the middle of Dumfriesshire. It's a detached house, so no neighbours attached. The village is small and quiet.
The house sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a big, solid house, good for a family gathering or a group of friends.
There are two sitting rooms. One is the main one with a multi-fuel stove, and it has doors out to the garden. The other has a TV, so it's useful if some people want to watch something different.
The garden is fully enclosed. There's a BBQ and space for cars on the drive.
Penpont has a small shop. Thornhill is two miles away. That's got a supermarket, some shops, and a few places to eat.
Drumlanrig Castle is very close. You can visit the castle and gardens, or just walk or cycle in the estate grounds. It's a good day out. The 7Stanes mountain biking trails are nearby if that's your thing.
The local roads are quiet for walking or cycling. Thornhill has an 18-hole golf course. The Solway Coast is within a 30 minute drive, with beaches and villages like Sandyhills and Kippford.
For facilities: there's WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a highchair. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
