Loch View

This place is called Loch View, in Grimshader. It's a detached house, so you've got your own space. The name sums it up. You look right out over a loch. It's quiet.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. The layout is fine, with a double bedroom on the ground floor and two more bedrooms upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and everything works. It's decorated simply, nothing fussy.

The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher. There's a wood burner in the living room. It's good to have on in the evening. We leave wood for you. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and all the bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.

The garden is yours to use. There's a highchair and a cot if you need them. We don't take pets, sorry.

Grimshader itself is just a scattering of houses. Stornoway is about a 20 minute drive for supermarkets, a few places to eat, and the ferry. You really need a car here.

If you're into walking or history, there's a lot nearby. The Callanish Standing Stones are about half an hour away. The Blackhouse Village at Gearrannan is worth a look too. The beaches on the west coast, like Uig, are stunning and maybe a 40 minute drive. Harris is easily a day trip, with some famous beaches like Luskentyre.
