Willow Cottage is in Sandwick, about two miles outside Stornoway. It's a detached house. You can see the sea from the front. The beach is a five minute walk down the lane.
It sleeps five people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well kitted out and comfortable. The owners renovated it a few years ago. There's a wood burner in the dining room and a gas fire in the living room. WiFi is included.
One thing to note: there's a single bedroom on the staircase landing between floors. It's fine, it's a proper room, but it's on the stairs. The other two doubles are upstairs with a shower room.
It's a good spot because you're close to Stornoway for shops and the ferry, but you're out in the quiet. The garden is enclosed. Parking is right there.
From here, you can drive to most places on Lewis in under an hour. The Callanish Stones are about twenty minutes west. The beach at Tolsta is north, maybe fifteen minutes. If you want to go to Harris, you drive south through the hills. The big beaches like Luskentyre are about an hour's drive.
Stornoway has supermarkets, a leisure centre, and places to eat. The ferry port and airport are just outside town, so getting here is straightforward.
Facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair if needed. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
