Chalet 56
Chalet 56 is a holiday chalet on Kingsdown Holiday Park. It's between Dover and Deal, on the Kent coast. You've got the sea right there.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. The main room is open plan. The doors open onto a deck, which is nice in the evening. There's parking right outside.
The park itself is on the cliffs, 36 acres. You can walk around it. There's a kids' play area. The park has a heated indoor swimming pool you can book sessions for. There are also washing machines and dryers on site if you need them.
The beach is about five minutes walk down the hill. There are three pubs within a similar walk, all do food. A small shop is nearby too, but for a bigger shop you'd need to drive into Deal.
Deal is a few miles away. It's got a nice high street and a seafront. Deal Castle and Walmer Castle are both close, maybe a ten minute drive. They're run by English Heritage.
Further out, you've got Dover Castle about twenty minutes away. Canterbury is about half an hour's drive for the cathedral and the city. If you fancy it, you can get the ferry to France from Dover.
Facilities: wifi, TV, washing machine, cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
