Violet Cottage
Violet Cottage is in Kingsdown. It's basically on the beach. The shingle starts about ten yards from the garden gate.
It sleeps four, in three bedrooms. One king size bed, one double, and a bunk bed room. They all look out to sea. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's clean and well looked after.
The garden is private and enclosed. There's a terrace with a table and chairs. You can store bikes. The local pub is about fifty yards away. They do food. The shop is a few minutes' walk.
Inside, the stairs are fairly steep. There's a wood burning stove for winter. It's got a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's parking right at the cottage.
Walmer Castle and Deal Castle are nearby if you like history. Deal seafront is about three miles for a longer walk. Dover is about twenty minutes by car for the castle or the ferry port. The White Cliffs are there too.
