Poppy Lodge
Poppy Lodge is on a holiday park in Kingsdown, Kent. It's a Scandinavian-style chalet, so there are a lot of wooden walls and sloping ceilings. It sleeps four people in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which is good. It's clean and well looked after.
The kitchen has what you need. There's a separate dining room with patio doors that open onto a terrace. You can eat outside there if the weather's good.
The park itself has a lot going on. There's an indoor heated pool, tennis courts, mini golf, a social club, and a kids' play area. The beach is very close, just a short walk down the hill. You get a clear sea view from the lodge. There's a pub on the site and a shop and restaurant about five minutes' walk away in the village.
Kingsdown is a small village. Deal is about three miles up the coast. It has a nice seafront and Deal Castle and Walmer Castle are there. You can walk along the coast path from Kingsdown to Deal, or drive it in ten minutes.
For facilities in the lodge, you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. No pets, sorry.
