The Woodlands Farmhouse is in Tallarn Green, on the Welsh side of the border. It's a detached, single-storey house on a working farm. That means you see tractors sometimes, and you get farm noises and smells. It's very quiet otherwise.
It sleeps twelve people. There are six bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom. That's the main thing about it. It makes it easy for groups.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. There's a hot tub and a barbecue. It has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. It's not overly fancy.
You're in the countryside here. The lanes are good for walks or bikes. You can see foxes and bats at night if you're lucky.
For a day out, Chester is about half an hour's drive. Ellesmere and its meres are closer. You can get to the National Trust properties like Erddig or Chirk Castle within 30 to 40 minutes. The Clwydian Range is good for walking. The Offa's Dyke Path is nearby.
Facilities: everything's on the ground floor. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. It has a cot and highchair.
