The Woodlands Farmhouse
The Woodlands Farmhouse is just over the border in Tallarn Green, on a working farm. It's detached, so just you and your group. The land around it goes on for miles.
It sleeps up to twelve people. Six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's the main thing. It's all on one level, which is good for anyone who doesn't want stairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The garden is enclosed, so kids and dogs can be out there safely. There's a hot tub. At night, you'll often see foxes or badgers, and hear owls.
It's a farm, so you'll see tractors and sheep. The lanes are quiet for walks or cycling. A brook on the next farm marks the border into Cheshire.
For days out, you're quite central. Llangollen is about 20 minutes away. Chester is maybe half an hour, the zoo is there. Shrewsbury is about 40 minutes. In the other direction, the Clwydian Hills and Offa's Dyke are within reach for a good walk.
Facilities wise, it has pretty much everything: wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site.
