Tadpole Mews At Frog Hall
Tadpole Mews is a cottage at Frog Hall, near Tilston in Cheshire. It's one of two cottages here, next to Tadpole Cottage. I live on site.
The cottage sleeps four. There are two bedrooms, but they're arranged on a mezzanine level. It's open plan, so it feels quite spacious. It's been recently done up and has a 4 Star rating. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Outside, there's a private patio with a hot tub. You can park right there.
Tilston village is about half a mile away. It has a shop, a pub, and a restaurant. There's a playing field with a kids' playground. The larger village of Malpas is three miles away for more shops.
You can walk or cycle straight from the door into the countryside. For a day out, Chester is about half an hour's drive. It's a proper historic city with walls, a zoo, and the racecourse. Delamere Forest is also within 30 minutes for walking. Beeston Castle and Cholmondeley Castle are both nearby too.
If you head towards Wales, Wrexham isn't far. Llangollen has the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and a steam railway.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are provided. There's bike storage. No pets allowed.
