Copperbeech Bowtop is a Romani wagon and a separate oak lodge, set in an old orchard near Tilston.
You sleep in the wagon. It's the original bow-top style. We've restored it, so it's got colourful sari fabrics inside and a comfortable double mattress. That's about all that fits in there. It's cosy.
Everything else is in the lodge right next to it. That's where the kitchen, living area, dining space, and shower room are. The kitchen is well set up. The shower is good. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings.
Outside, there's a garden area with a table and chairs. The orchard has some old trees. The stream at the bottom has a few spots cleared for sitting.
It's just the one wagon and lodge on the site, so it's private. No other guests.
The village of Tilston is about a five minute walk away. There's a decent village shop for basics and a pub that does good food. You can walk to both.
If you're driving out, Beeston Castle is nearby. It's an English Heritage site on a big sandstone crag. Chester is about a twenty-five minute drive. Liverpool and Manchester are both around forty-five minutes by car.
Facilities: everything's included. There's WiFi, a BBQ, bedding and towels. The wood burner is laid for you when you arrive. No pets.
