Tadpole Cottage At Frog Hall
Tadpole Cottage is one of two cottages here at Frog Hall in Tilston. It's my place. I live on site in the main house. The cottage is modern inside, a recent conversion.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom, which is handy. The main living space is upstairs. We did that so you get the views from the big windows. You look out over fields and the village church.
It has a 4 Star rating. That means it's well finished. There's a private patio with a hot tub. You get your own washing machine and dishwasher. Parking is right outside.
Tilston village is about half a mile away. There's a shop, a pub that does food, and a playing field with a kids' playground. The bigger village of Malpas is three miles away for more shops.
For days out, Chester is about half an hour by car. The zoo is there, and the racecourse. Beeston Castle is close by, a good walk with views. Delamere Forest is about twenty minutes drive for cycling. If you head into Wales, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct near Llangollen is worth seeing. That's roughly thirty minutes.
There's another cottage next door, Tadpole Mews, which sleeps four differently. You can book both together if you're a larger group.
No pets, I'm afraid. The garden is yours to use. Bedding and towels are included.
