The Drift House
The Drift House is a converted barn out past Hampton Heath, between Tilston and Malpas. It's detached and sits on its own in fields. The conversion was finished in 2022, so everything is new.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The main room downstairs is open plan. Kitchen, dining, sitting area all together. There are big bifold doors that open right onto the garden. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs or kids.
Upstairs, the bedrooms are all a good size. Outside, there's a wood-fired hot tub on a private patio. The views are over open countryside.
You can bring up to three pets.
Facilities include things like a washing machine, dishwasher, EV charger, and bike storage. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
For things to do, you're right near the Sandstone Trail for walking. The Bickerton and Peckforton Hills are close by. Sandstone Trail information.
Beeston Castle and Peckforton Castle are about a fifteen minute drive. The Ice Cream Farm in Tattenhall is about the same. Delamere Forest is within half an hour for walking or cycling. Delamere Forest.
Chester is about thirty minutes away for shops and the zoo. Liverpool is around forty-five minutes, Manchester about an hour.
