Hillside Cottage
This is Hillside Cottage, on our farm. It’s a dairy farm, so you'll see cows in the fields around. We did it up properly a few years ago.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and everything works. The doors and floors are level, so it’s fine if you have a wheelchair to get in and around the ground floor. The bathroom is upstairs though.
You've got your own garden with a patio, looks out over the fields. It's quiet. Inside it's open plan, kitchen and living area together. There's a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.
The village of Malpas is about a mile and a half away. It's got a shop and a couple of pubs. For a bigger shop, Wrexham is ten miles.
You're right on the border here. Chester is about half an hour's drive. Good for a day out, shopping or the races. Beeston Castle is closer, maybe twenty minutes. If you fancy a walk in the forest, Delamere isn't far. Cholmondeley Castle Gardens are nice.
North Wales is easy from here. The coast, like Prestatyn beach, is under an hour away.
