Buckieburn is a spacious and comfortable, self-catering holiday home in a peaceful rural location in Carron Valley, yet only 7 miles from Stirling. A welcoming, semi-detached holiday home with a garden is ideal for couples and families to spend time together. Set in an elevated position with views over the surrounding countryside towards Edinburgh and with walks out into the countryside.
The ground floor offers a well-equipped kitchen with a dining table, bright living room with comfortable seating and a cosy woodburning stove. The first floor has three well presented bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed, a double bedroom with the option of adding a single bed for alternative sleeping and a single bedroom. The family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the picture. The enclosed garden is just the spot for your morning coffee or relaxing with a book and enjoying the view.
From your doorstep, there are miles of track and cycle trails to follow; this beautiful area is the prefect location for guests who like exploring outdoors. Carron Valley has miles of challenging mountain bike trails - there is plenty of opportunity for fishing in the lochs, and lots of opportunities for walking. The historic city of Stirling is only 7 miles away and makes a great day out for all ages. Lots of opportunity for shopping and places to eat and tourist attractions to visit including the magnificent Stirling Castle, Wallace Monument and Bannockburn Heritage Centre. To explore further afield, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Loch Lomond can all be reach in an hour. Buckieburn is a perfect location for discovering Central Scotland where you are surrounded by the peace and quiet of the rural Carron Valley.
