Poppy Lodge
A beautiful home away from home which has been tastefully and carefully presented with real thought placed behind catering for couples. Poppy Lodge is just minutes from the Villages of Dollar and Auchterarder making it so accessible for exploring what North Central Scotland is famed for.
The lodge was newly refurbished at the end of 2021, and does sleep three but is really ideal for two. The master bedroom has a king size bed which is unusual for this type of property so you can be sure of a comfier night’s sleep after a day of activities, the same could be said for the sofa’s in the living area, an L shape sofa and larger love seat make it perfect for lounging on one each while watching a movie with some sweets and a bottle of your favourite tipple, on a summers evening you’ll love having the doors open enjoying the cool breeze and hearing the sounds of nature. The kitchen area is more than adequate and has all you’ll need to prepare and enjoy a hearty meal. The dining area has space for four so if you have friends nearby or make some new ones on site there is room for this. Likewise, the 2nd bedroom does have a smaller daybed which is intended as a "chill out" or reading room but could sleep someone if needed. The shower room has a slightly larger than usual shower base with good water pressure.
Surrounded by beautiful Perthshire countryside, this single-storey timber lodge is situated on a peaceful 14-acre site just 6 miles from Auchterarder and the Gleneagles Hotel and Golf Course. Boasting a tastefully furnished living area and a large patio area, this holiday property is surrounded by walking and cycling paths with picnic areas. Fishing, horse riding, off road driving and water sports available locally. Stirling is 25 miles with many attractions, The Wallace Monument and The Mill Trail. Perth and Dunfermline are approx. 25 miles, with Edinburgh and Glasgow easily accessible by car. Beach 26 miles. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
