Miners' Rest

Located just outside Edinburgh to the west in the large, former mining village of Broxburn you’ll find Miner’s Rest. This traditional lower apartment is ideal for a couple or singleton looking for a base that allows access to the extensive range of attractions throughout the central belt of Scotland.

This cosy apartment has decent sized rooms including the front facing living room which has a piano just in case you have a talent you’ve forgotten about. The kitchen provides everything you would need to prepare and enjoy great meals, even one of those romantic ones if you desire. The double bedroom has a comfortable double bed and there is a shower room with floor level double shower. Heated by gas, the property will heat quickly in the winter so when you get back from your day’s exploring, you’ll be able to relax in front of the TV comfortably.

Edinburgh Airport is only 10 minutes’ drive, Edinburgh City Centre is not much longer, however, one may wish to use the tram service from the airport and hop on and off as you see fit. Glasgow is between 35-45 minutes away and Stirling with the Famous Castle and history also known as "The Gateway to the Highlands" is only 30 minutes.
