Temple House West Drumnadrochit

Temple House West is near Drumnadrochit, about a mile from the village. It's a ground-floor apartment in a bigger, old house up on the hill by the loch side. You get a private, hedged garden with it. The view from there looks right out over Loch Ness.

It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The windows are the original small-paned ones, which is nice, but it means they're not big picture windows.

The village has what you need: a couple of decent restaurants, a good small shop, and a pub. Inverness is about twelve miles away for bigger shops or a different night out.

If you're here to walk, you're sorted. The Great Glen Way passes close by and you can follow it all the way to Inverness if you're feeling energetic. There are other tracks from the door too. For a trip on the loch itself, you can book boat tours from the village.

It’s a good central spot for seeing the Highlands. Skye, Fort William, and the west coast are a couple of hours' drive. Going north up the A9 or south towards Aviemore is straightforward from here.

Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
