Thistle Dubh
Thistle Dubh is in Lewiston, which is part of Drumnadrochit near Loch Ness. It's a detached bungalow, so no one attached on either side. The garden is fully enclosed with a patio area.
It sleeps two people in one bedroom. There's one bathroom, which is a wet room. It's got a 4 Star rating, partly because it's been adapted for accessibility. The doors are widened and there are grab rails in the wet room. There's a small ridge in some of the doorways, which you should be aware of if you're using a wheelchair.
There's a shop, a pub, and places to eat about a quarter of a mile away in the village. Everything you need is within walking distance.
The cottage is a good base for Loch Ness. Urquhart Castle is just down the road. You're right by the Great Glen Way for walking. Glen Affric and Glen Urquhart are a short drive away if you want to go deeper into the glens. Inverness is about a 30 minute drive for a bigger city day out.
In terms of what's here, it's all one level. There's a washing machine, a TV, and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. No pets allowed.
