Riverside Cottage is in Lewiston, which is the quieter part of Drumnadrochit village. It's a detached cottage, so no one attached to either side. It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. There's a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean. Because it's all on the ground floor, it's good if stairs are a problem.
The cottage looks out onto a field at the back. The garden is enclosed, so it's fine for dogs. You can bring up to two.
You're about a five minute walk from the centre of Drumnadrochit. There's a shop about 500 yards away and a couple of pubs and restaurants even closer. They're decent.
You're right on the edge of Loch Ness. Urquhart Castle is just down the road, and the Loch Ness Centre is in the village. Inverness is about a twenty minute drive if you need bigger shops or a train station.
For day trips, Culloden Battlefield is about half an hour east. If you head towards the Moray coast instead, that's also about thirty minutes. There's good walking all around here, especially along the loch.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove, which is nice in the evenings. There's a washing machine, TV, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside.
