This is Glen View of Enrick House in Balnain. It's a detached house up a quiet track, surrounded by trees. You're on your own up here, so it's peaceful.
It sleeps seven people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor, and there are grab rails and a seat in the shower. It has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works.
The garden is a decent size. There's an herb garden on the side of the hill that you can use. Loch Miekle is about a five minute walk down the track if you fancy a look.
The nearest proper village is Drumnadrochit. That's about four miles away. They've got shops, places to eat, and the usual things. Urquhart Castle is just outside the village, on the shore of Loch Ness. You can get boat trips on the loch from there too.
Inverness is 18 miles east. It's got everything you'd expect from a city: big shops, a cinema, restaurants. To the west, you've got Glen Affric, which is really nice for walking. It's about a half hour drive.
A bit further out, within an hour or so, you've got places like Culloden, Culloden Battlefield, or you can drive down to Fort William. The road to the Isle of Skye passes Eilean Donan Castle, which everyone takes a picture of.
The house has parking. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can take up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
