The Dairy Beauworth

The Dairy is in Beauworth, which is a small hamlet in the Hampshire countryside. It's a converted barn on one level, so everything's on the ground floor. You can't really see it from the road.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's a five star place, which means it's been finished to a high standard. It's clean, warm, and everything works.

The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you have dogs or small children. There's a table and chairs, and a barbecue. There's also an electric vehicle charging point.

Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. The living area has a TV and WiFi. It's all quite light because of the windows. The floors are tiled.

You've got two pubs and a village shop about a mile away in Cheriton. Alresford is a few minutes' drive. It's a nice town with some shops and places to eat. The Watercress Line steam railway runs from there.

For walks, you're right on the edge of the South Downs. The South Downs National Park site has maps. Hinton Ampner, a National Trust property, is very close. Winchester is about eight miles away if you want the cathedral or shops.

If you drive for half an hour, you can get to the coast at Hayling Island. Marwell Zoo is about the same distance. The New Forest is also within reach.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
