Lovington Barn
Lovington Barn is in Itchen Stoke, Hampshire. It's a detached barn conversion we built and designed ourselves. The main thing is the space. It's all very open plan downstairs, with high ceilings and oak beams. There's underfloor heating throughout.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. The two main doubles are very big, with little seating areas. Every bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. The master one has a bath as well as a shower.
A practical point: there's an internal lift. It's there if stairs are a problem for anyone. There's also an electric vehicle charging point.
Outside is a large patio with views over the fields. It gets the sun in the evening. You can park right next to the barn.
The village is quiet. The nearest pub is a short walk away. The historic market town of Alton is about three miles. Winchester is seven miles away, with the cathedral and all the shops. You can get to the South Downs National Park edge in about twenty minutes.
For days out, the Watercress Line steam railway is nearby in Alresford. Winchester Science Centre and Marwell Zoo are both within a thirty minute drive.
Facilities: It has pretty much everything. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. It's a 5 Star rated property, so it's well equipped and finished. No pets, sorry.
