Mallard Cottage
Mallard Cottage is in Winchester. It's an 18th century cottage on a terrace, right next to our house. We've got two English Retrievers.
It's a five star place, sleeps two. There are two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. Everything's got things like robes and nice toiletries. It's all been done up to a high standard.
Downstairs is open plan. The kitchen is at one end, then a dining area, then the living space. There are big bi-fold doors that open onto a patio. The patio looks over our garden and you can see the river from there.
Because it's old, the doors are a bit low in places. And the main bathroom has a walk-in shower, not a bath.
You're about a five minute walk from the High Street. There's a shop, pubs, and restaurants very close. The cathedral is obviously the main thing to see. For other days out, the New Forest is about twenty minutes by car. Southampton is fifteen minutes the other way.
It's got a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. The whole place is on one level from the entrance, so it's accessible for wheelchairs.
