Pemberly is a cottage in Winchester, on one of the old streets near the Cathedral. It's a terraced house. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done up to a high standard.
The cottage is on the Jane Austen walking tour route, if that's your sort of thing. The street feels quite old, but you're only a few minutes from the main high street and shops.
There's a pub called The Wykeham Arms just down the road. It's well-known for food. The garden here is bigger than you'd expect for a city centre cottage. It's enclosed, with a patio area.
The stairs to the second bedroom are quite steep, just so you know. Everything else is straightforward. It has a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on site. All the bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
You're right in the middle of things here. Winchester Cathedral is a short walk. The High Street is close. For days out, the South Downs are about a twenty minute drive. The New Forest is about half an hour by car.
