Pemberly Winchester

Pemberly is in Kingsgate Village, Winchester. It's a terraced cottage on a quiet, old street. You're right in the middle of the city, but it feels tucked away.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-finished. The stairs to the second bedroom are cottage stairs, so watch your head.

The house has been renovated. It's a mix of old features, like fireplaces and a medieval arch in the kitchen, and modern things like a dishwasher and a coffee machine. The garden is a good size for a city centre place, with a terrace.

You're a two-minute walk from Winchester Cathedral and the main High Street. The Wykeham Arms pub is just down the road. It's a proper old pub, does good food.

You're on the Jane Austen walking trail here. For local history, the Winchester City Museum is close. The South Downs National Park starts about ten minutes' drive south, good for walks. The New Forest is about a half hour drive.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking for one car on site. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
