Yew Tree Cottage
Yew Tree Cottage is in Cheriton, Hampshire. It's a converted barn attached to our house. The place is all on one level. The living area has a high ceiling with beams and looks out over the field and the stream.
It's for two people. One bedroom with twin beds and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
You can walk to the village shop and there are two pubs about a ten minute walk away. We're right on the edge of the South Downs, so the walking is very good from the door. The South Downs National Park website has maps and routes.
Alresford is about three miles away. It's a nice little town with some shops and places to eat. The Watercress steam railway runs from there. Winchester is eight miles. It's a big draw with the cathedral and everything else.
In terms of things to do, the National Trust's Hinton Ampner house and gardens are just over a mile away. The Meon Valley is good for fishing. The coast, like Hayling Island, is about half an hour's drive.
For facilities, you've got parking, WiFi, a TV, and bike storage. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. The property allows two dogs.
