The Owl House
The Owl House is in Droxford, Hampshire. It's a barn conversion in the grounds of our house. It's very quiet here. You look out over fields and woods, and you can see the golf course further down the valley.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and recently done up. It's eco-friendly, so it stays warm without costing a fortune to heat.
You can walk straight out the front door into the countryside. The footpaths are right there. The village pub is about a twenty minute walk away. It's a decent pub. There's a village shop about a mile away.
It's in the South Downs National Park. Winchester is about twenty minutes by car. The coast at Southampton or Portsmouth is roughly half an hour. The New Forest is about forty minutes away. Marwell Zoo is a twenty-five minute drive.
For facilities: there's a woodburning stove, a BBQ, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. No pets, sorry.
