The Owl House
The Owl House is in Droxford, up a quiet lane. It's a converted barn on our property, but it's separate and you get your own space. The views from the front are over the valley and the golf course. It's very quiet.
It sleeps five people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's well-insulated and warm, an eco-build. The heating's included.
You can walk straight out from the door into the woods and fields. The local pub is about a mile's walk down the lane. It's a proper country pub. The village shop is there too.
It's in the South Downs National Park. Winchester is about 20 minutes by car. The South Coast, for places like Portsmouth, is about half an hour. The New Forest is about 40 minutes away. Marwell Zoo is 25 minutes. Southampton is around 35 minutes.
For facilities: there's a wood burner, a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. We provide bedding and towels. There's parking right next to the barn. We can put up a cot and a highchair if you need them, and there's a stairgate at the top.
