The Cart House is in Waltham Chase. It's a converted barn. It's detached.
The place sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor. One is a kingsize with its en-suite. The third bedroom is upstairs on a mezzanine looking over the kitchen. That one has its own toilet. There's another mezzanine area at the other end that's a snug with a view.
The stairs to the mezzanine are more like a ship's ladder. They're quite steep.
The kitchen is big with a vaulted ceiling and old beams. The living room has doors out to the garden. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works.
The facilities are all there: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. There's an electric vehicle charger and parking.
The garden's yours to use. There's also a barbecue.
There's a pub about a minute's walk away. They do food. The village has a butcher, bakery, and greengrocer.
For days out, Marwell Zoo is about fifteen minutes by car. Paulton's Park, which has Peppa Pig World, is half an hour away.
Portsmouth is about fourteen miles. You've got the Historic Dockyard with the Victory and the Mary Rose. Gunwharf Quays is there for shopping. You can get the ferry to the Isle of Wight from there.
Winchester is less than half an hour's drive. The cathedral is the main thing. They have a good Christmas market.
The nearest beach is probably around Hayling Island, about ten or eleven miles.
