The Coach House is in Otter Ferry, on the Cowal peninsula. It's part of a group of cottages called Home Farm, set around a courtyard. You're in the middle of about 150 acres of private woodland. It's very quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. Everything's included: bedding, towels, that sort of thing. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well done up and comfortable.
It's open plan downstairs. There's a wood burning stove, which is nice in the evenings. You've got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Parking is right outside.
The place is quite remote. The nearest shop is about 13 miles away in Tighnabruaich, so you need to plan for that. There's a summer shop next to the farm, but it's seasonal. The closest pub serving food is about 7 miles away, in Colintraive.
You're right by the River Ruel. There's free trout and salmon fishing on the estate's beat, and there's a fishing hut you can use. The coast is about 5 miles away. The famous view over the Kyles of Bute is about a 10 minute drive.
Tighnabruaich is about 9 miles. It has a small sandy beach, a few shops, places to eat, and a 9-hole golf course. If you want to go further, you can get a ferry from Colintraive over to the Isle of Bute.
