The Coach House
The Coach House is on a farm near Otter Ferry in Argyll. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been done up to a high standard. It's one of a few cottages around a courtyard, so you'll see other guests sometimes, but it feels private enough.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms, which is handy. It's open plan downstairs.
The main thing here is the space. You've got access to 150 acres of private woodland to walk around in. There's a river with free trout and salmon fishing if that's your thing. There's a fishing hut you can use for a picnic.
You're a bit out of the way. The nearest shop is 13 miles, so you'll want to bring supplies. There's a summer shop next to the farm, but it's seasonal. The closest pub doing food is about 7 miles away in Colintraive.
For getting out, the famous view of the Kyles of Bute is about a 20 minute drive. Tighnabruaich village is a similar distance, it's got a small beach, a shop, and a 9-hole golf course. The coast is just over there.
Inside, it's all there: wood burning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. There's bike storage. Parking right outside. No pets.
