Lavender Lodge

Lavender Lodge is on the Patrington Haven Leisure Park. It's a detached lodge, so you're not sharing walls with anyone. The park itself is quiet, more for families and people who want to be near the coast without the crowds.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one with an en-suite bath and shower, and there's a main bathroom too. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well looked after and comfortable. The living area is all open plan with big doors out to the deck. The deck is raised up and fully enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or small children. There's a hot tub out there.

The kitchen has everything you'd need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's an electric vehicle charger on the drive.

On the park itself, there's a bar and restaurant, a small gym, a kids' play area, and fishing lakes. It's all a couple of minutes' walk from the lodge. The local village has a pub and a shop for basics.

The coast is close. Easington Beach is about a ten minute drive, it's a proper stretch of sand. Withernsea is fifteen minutes that way, it's a traditional seaside town with a promenade and places to eat.

If you like walking, Spurn Point is a must. It's that long spit of land you can see. The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust looks after it. There are other RSPB spots around too. For something different, the Cold War bunker at RAF Holmpton is about twenty minutes drive and is surprisingly interesting.

Hull is roughly forty minutes by car if you want a city day out. The Deep aquarium is there. For a grand house, Burton Constable Hall is about half an hour away.

Practical things: bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed. WiFi is there.
