The Hawthorns is in Ottringham, just off the main road into the village. It's a detached bungalow. You can't miss it. The driveway is big, so parking is easy.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom is on the ground floor, with its own bathroom. That bathroom has a walk-in shower and a bath. The stairs up to the other two bedrooms are standard, not a cottage spiral.
The kitchen is well-equipped and opens into a sunroom. That's a nice spot. The living room is separate, with a big TV. The garden is large and fully enclosed. The hot tub is under a covered summerhouse at the bottom of the garden. There's decking and seating at different points to catch the sun.
In the village, there's a pub, an Indian takeaway, a post office shop, and a kids' park. The coast at Withernsea is about fifteen minutes by car. Hornsea and Bridlington are a bit further.
For days out, Spurn Point is special for birdwatching and coastal walks. Yorkshire Wildlife Trust Spurn Point. Burton Constable Hall is a good stately home nearby. Hull is about twenty-five minutes away. The Deep aquarium is there if that's your thing. Beverley is a nice market town with a minster and a racecourse. York is just over an hour's drive.
Facilities: everything's included like bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot, highchair. The property is rated for wheelchair access at the entrance and the ground floor bedroom and bathroom have adaptations.
