Carol Ann Patrington Haven

Carol Ann is a lodge on the Patrington Haven Leisure Park near Withernsea. It's a detached single-storey place, so no stairs to worry about. Sleeps six, but two of those are on a sofa bed in the living area. There are two proper bedrooms: a double with its own ensuite shower room, and a twin. There's a main bathroom with a bath and a shower too.

It's got a large enclosed garden. Good if you've got dogs or kids, you can just let them out. There's a deck with furniture and a private hot tub. The living area is open plan with big French doors out to the garden.

The park itself has a bar and restaurant, fishing lakes, and a play area. You can pay to use the swimming pool and gym on site. They only take card payments on the park, no cash.

Withernsea is about ten minutes by car. It's a traditional seaside town with a beach, a pier, and amusements. For a good walk, Spurn Point is about twenty minutes drive away. It's a nature reserve run by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. The landscape there is unique.

Burton Constable Hall is a large stately home about fifteen minutes inland. Hull is roughly half an hour's drive. The Deep aquarium there is very good if the weather turns. The coast path is accessible from a few points nearby if you want a proper coastal walk.

In terms of what's here: there's parking right outside, wifi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome. The lodge has a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and equipped but isn't a luxury finish.
