Rogue Cottage
Rogue Cottage is in Wheldrake village. It's a terrace cottage. It sleeps three, two bedrooms. One double, one single. And one bathroom. There's a shared patio out the back with a table and chairs.
The inside is straightforward. The living room has a gas fire, which works well. Kitchen is fine for cooking a meal. The stairs are old cottage stairs, so they're steep and a bit narrow.
Wheldrake is quiet. There's a village pub you can walk to. The Wheldrake Ings nature reserve is right on the edge of the village if you like walking and birdwatching. It's managed by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
York is about seven miles away. That's where you'll go for the Minster, the Shambles, the Railway Museum. All the main things. It's an easy drive or you can get the bus from nearby.
For other days out, the Howardian Hills are close by for walking. The North York Moors and the coast are about a 45 minute drive. The National Trust has a few places nearby like Beningbrough Hall.
What's here: TV, WiFi, all the bedding and towels are included. Everything for the electricity is covered. No pets.
