Cottontails Hut is in High Bray. It's a shepherd's hut on the edge of Exmoor, on its own bit of land. It sleeps two. Just the one bedroom and one bathroom in a small space, so it's a cosy setup.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well put together and comfortable. The kitchen has what you need. There's a wood burner for heat. Outside, there's a covered seating area, a firepit, and a barbecue. You've also got a private wood-fired hot tub, which is nice of an evening. The garden is enclosed, so it's fine for dogs. We can take up to three.
There's a splash pool outside for warm days. The land around it is about three quarters of an acre. We've planted some trees and shrubs. You see hares in the fields.
If you want to ride, there are stables on site. They have an arena and can arrange hacks out on Exmoor.
The nearest proper town is South Molton, about ten minutes away. They have a market on Thursdays and Saturdays. For the coast, you're looking at about half an hour's drive. Croyde and Woolacombe are good for surf. Westward Ho! is a bit further. Exmoor itself is right there for walking. The Tarka Trail is close by for cycling.
A few other things: bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there. It has WiFi and a TV. The hot tub is wood-fired, so you'll need to manage that yourself, but it's straightforward.
